Care today. Character tomorrow.
The National Association of Junior Auxiliaries is a national non-profit organization that encourages members to render charitable services which are beneficial to the general public, with particular emphasis on children!
With 93 chapters in the southeast, Junior Auxiliary chapters have been partnering with Girl Scout councils since the inception of the National Stand Beside Her Movement in 2014. Members have worked side-by-side with Girl Scout councils to address the needs in their community by providing education, community service and serving as role models for the girls.
“When contacted by the Girl Scouts, we were immediately excited about working with them to promote this week, aimed at inspiring all women and girls to support each other.” said Merrill Greenlee, Executive Director of NAJA.
“JA chapters across the south work tirelessly every day through their service projects to make a difference in the lives of children. Our slogan- Care Today – Character Tomorrow says it all. However, the ladies in our chapters are also trained to be leaders and volunteers in their communities, thus making a difference in their own lives. Through our network of chapters, we will be instrumental in helping to get out the word about this initiative.”
